How to set an acrylic wig using rollers and steam

Stetting an Acrylic wig
  1. According to what hairstyle your doing you need to use that style of brick work on the wig
  2. Using plastic rollers start following the pattern of your roller setting I did the 1940's victory rolls so I did an off centre parting with three roller on one side and two on the other side. Also having the two section above the ear rolled back away from the face.
  3. When putting in your rollers make sure they are tight and secured down as they can easily flop out.
  4. After doing the front on the back I did brick work on the crown and then towards the nape I rolled the hair in three different section just going down in the same direction
  5. Once the hair is set in to rollers then you need get your hair steamer and steam the hair for atlas 30-40mins make sure the hair is properly steamed so that the wig can be reshaped.
  6. once the hair is wet and steamed leave it for a few day to dry.

Once the wig is dry this is what you should get (images below) and just gently brush out your curls with a paddle brush and then your hair is ready for styling.
