Prepping the hair in 1940's victory rolls

1. Start with the front of the hair and section it out.
2. Create an off centre parting from the front.
3. Use small size rollers and apply 3 rollers on the right side of the hair taking to neat sections.
4. Then apply two on the opposite side of the hair.
5.  For the sections near the ear roll the hair away from the face.
6. When adding in your heated rollers make sure you are rolling them in to your section so you get volumised finish so it is easy to create the victory roll.
7. For the back of the hair used hair curling tongs instead of heated rollers.
8. With the back using the curling tongs do the brick work technique roll the hair back and pin it in with bobby pins and let it cool down for styling.
